At LEADERSHIP BY DESIGN we make a distinction between training & development. Training is basically teaching someone a new set of skills. Development is getting them to use their skills more often and more effectively. We are not a training company. We are a development company. The delivery of any development process is "key" to retention and implementation. Seminars are one of our delivery methods. Seminars allow us to expose a large number of people to leadership development. Psychologists state 60-90% of all ideas will only be effectively retained after they have been presented for the sixth time. For this reason our most effective processes utilize a series of workshop oriented sessions enabling the participants to make use of the power of spaced repetition. We deliver these processes through tailored in-house workshops and executive coaching. |
